The painting is on an easel, the middle leg of the easel is moved back to enable the card to stand up. The painting is surrounded by a shiny gold frame and has a crackle varnish finish to give a realistic oil painting effect (the picture is printed and is not an oil painting). The reverse of the card has the name of the painting when it was painted and also the artist, there is also space to add your own message. On a separate sheet of paper included with the card is a picture of the artist.
